The pyramid of the original is intact, which is the hard part at this scale — the whole reason the sculpture works is that the two figures read as one mass, and that is what survives here.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe figures are left in a fine satin, the way unpolished marble reads, and behind them the field is diamond-cut into rays running from the group out to the frame in contrasting metal.
