The Detailed Praying Hands Pendant is a free-cut sculpture — no surrounding frame. The outline of the pendant is the outline of the hands and the sleeves falling away beneath them. Two palms pressed flat together, fingers extended and tipped slightly off vertical, thumbs crossed at the base the way hands actually fold.
Everything is in the surface. The backs of the hands carry raised tendon lines running to each knuckle, the veins stand proud across them, the nail beds are cut one by one, and the cuffs break into deep folds at the wrist. All of it is finished in a fine sandblasted matte with the fold edges and the fingertips left bright, so the form reads as modelling rather than as glare. On a piece with no stones that contrast is the entire design.
It is hollow, with a solid back. The front is formed as a shell and closed off behind by a solid plate. The back is smooth and unbroken; nothing shows from behind.
The bail is a wide, flat, mirror-polished tab with a 6.5mm opening — deliberately plain, and the only polished expanse on the piece.
Crafted to order in 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K or 24K gold. This design pairs a sculpted front with a smooth, closed back.
