Thirteen figures, one table, carved the whole way around the band.
The Last Supper Ring takes Leonardo's composition off the wall and wraps it around the finger. The full scene runs the entire circumference in raised relief — Christ at the centre, the apostles grouped in threes to either side, the long table with its cloth and vessels running beneath them, and the architecture of the room carved in behind, pilasters and coffered panels included.
The relief is deep enough to hold real shadow. Faces, hands, the fall of each robe and the fold of the tablecloth are all cut individually rather than stamped as a repeating pattern, so the scene reads continuously as the ring turns instead of resetting at a seam.
The whole carved field is finished in a fine sandblasted satin, which is what makes it legible — a bright polish at this scale would collapse the detail into glare. Against that, both rims are left mirror-polished, and a twisted rope border runs the inner edge of each rim, framing the scene top and bottom. The inside of the band is smooth and comfort-shaped.
